So summer IS coming, in spite of the sporadic snowfalls and random drops in temperature, it will be here before we know it, and when it gets here, I’ll be ready!
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is take my children to the nearest lake and plunk down in the shade with a book while they play, and short stories, I have found are my favorite choice for the beach.
I found a great collection of short stories at my local Indigo store in the bargain books section for $5.99 (can’t beat that!…well save for the library)

Magic in the Mirrorstone is a young Adult collection of short stories…but before you set the idea aside, consider how surprising it was (if, in fact you have read them) to find that the Harry Potter series was as thoroughly entertaining for you as it was for your 9 year old…and that is the objective…a nice relaxed day with a good, entertaining book, and this one, (I think;) will not disappoint.
